Hundreds seeking to
assist Utah family By Richard Potter SANDY -- Hundreds of people in Utah and across the nation have been touched by the story of an Utah family who lost their home to a fire Wednesday afternoon. Fire investigators said an overloaded circuit started the fire. Two sisters, ages 13 and 4, were home at the time. They smelled smoke and ran to family next door. The fire was mainly in the master bedroom, which was also where the family's Christmas presents were. Adding to the emotion of this tragedy: memories of another Krostner daughter, 9-year-old Mary Jane, who died from swine flu complications in October. The family is thankful that they are all safe. While the family is still setting up the appropriate bank account for donations, they have released ways people can assist right away.
1. PayPal, by clicking "Send Money" to recipient blacksunpressproperties@gmail.com to keep the blog alive.
A bank account to accept donations will be posted when we are notified by the family. |
